Welcome to Muddy Creek Farms, located in Oxford, Michigan. Our journey with hedgehogs began in 2011 when we brought home our very first pet hedgehog—affectionately named “Dinner” by our then four‑year‑old son. We were instantly hooked on these unique, adorable animals. Under the name Eternal Hedgehogs, that single prickly companion eventually grew into one of Michigan’s largest USDA‑licensed and inspected breeding programs.

    In 2014, we traded city life for our country roots. Our home on 11 acres now gives us the space to enjoy not only our beloved hedgies, but also a wide variety of farm animals that enrich our everyday life.

    During the winter of 2021, we stepped back from breeding to focus on our growing family. Still, hedgehogs have always had a place in our hearts, and it wasn’t long before we returned—this time with a smaller herd, but the same passion and purpose. We remain a family‑oriented, ethically responsible breeder dedicated to raising happy, healthy pets for families who will cherish them.
